Hi, I'm Wrenne. Today is jan 6 2023, a holiday in Poland. Over the past few days I've been clearing up space on my desk because I've grown tired of how it's been here. After finishing I moved most of my consoles on my desk - my Wii and two Playstations (3 and 4). I also have a PAL SNES in my room. For that SNES I have two games - an Asterix platformer and my favourite game of all time - Earthbound (except I got the WAY more affordable Japanese version - Mother 2), because I saw it on yahoo auctions.
I think every entry should be about something different in my room, until I run out of stuff, then I'll move on to other topics.
For my Wii I have a few pirated games + a japanese mario kart wii disc. Note that my wii is american (I got it for around 20 bucks without the wiimote). I saw it on an online marketplace and thought - "hell, that's a steal!" and just bought it! I had a TV in my room (that I also moved into my current room a couple of days ago) and I noticed that it doesn't have analog inputs, meaning I had to order one of those wii to hdmi adapters (although now I regret that, I should've bought a normal rca to hdmi adapter, which I later did). After a longer time (a couple of months I think) I finally bought a black wii remote and was finally able to do cool stuff. I maanaged to jailbreak it and install the homebrew channel plus some essential programs, such as USBloaderGX, which I now use to load games from, well, not necessarily a usb drive, but a microSD reader. I also use USBloaderGX for playing mario kart, since, as I wrote earlier, it's a japanese disc and it wouldn't normally load on an american wii. Sadly nintendo's history with region locking goes all the way back to the beginnings, and my PAL SNES is yet to be region-unlocked. Fortunately I have a friend with some soldering tools and knowledge who's gonna help me unlock the console, afterwards I'm finally going to be able to play the Mother 2 cartridge! A dream come true (one of many!). Now due to sentimental value I did not jailbreak my Playstation 3, but I do have a hefty physical collection of Lego games that I'm proud of. Used to play them with my dad all of the time when I was little. Now onto the PS4 - I'm using the GoldHEN exploit, cool stuff. Already got myself Stray, Retroarch (with many cores and some ROMs) + a few essential programs.
I personally think this is all I need to write for a blog entry to be interesting, never wrote one before. Gonna head to bed now, it's almost 2:30 am.
